What are the different forms of Payment?
Missouri Medicaid is the primary payor for home and community based services. Other options include Veteran Affairs (VA), Veterans Home Care (VHC), Home State Health, Healthy Blue, United Health Care, long term care insurance and private pay. Please contact our office and we will work with the individual on payment options.
What is difference between home care and home health?
Home care performs non-skilled services and bills Medicaid. Examples are personal care, nurse visits and respite services. Home Health bills Medicare and performs skilled services. Examples are wound care, IV therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy or speech therapy.
